Blizzard announced that the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria, will be releasing September 25th. For the first time, this expansion will be available in multiple editions, ranging from Standard ($40), Digital Deluxe ($60), and Collector?s ($80). The Digital Deluxe Edition will include an Imperial Quilen flying mount, a Lucky Quilen Cub exclusive pet, special battle.net portraits for Starcraft 2, and unique Diablo III banner sigils and accents. The Collector?s edition includes all these things, but with extra swag: a behind-the-scenes DVD, a soundtrack CD, a 208-page hardback artbook, and a panda mouse pad.
The latest expansion to the already?gargantuan game includes?a new race called the Pandaren, a new Monk class, a new Asian-themed continent, and a pet battle feature that seems all too familiar. All this new content will surely prove to some citizens of Azeroth that they can never truly quit WoW. Not to mention that series veterans will be treated to new thresholds to be the best, including an increased level cap, a challenge mode, and a new way of cooperative PvE.
For those of you that simply cannot wait (or just like to be prepared), you can preorder now and install everything to be ready to play at launch.
