A quick look at recent retail, commercial and industrial projects, sales and leases of note in Western Pennsylvania:

$2 million

Property sold: 4695 Campbell?s Run Rd., Collier

Seller: King Development Inc., Pittsburgh

Buyer: Snyder Automotive Works Inc., Pittsburgh

Detail: A car wash on a 2.1 acre site, adjacent to an Exxon gasoline station, convenience store and repair shop.

Comment: ?We will continue the car wash as part of our station, which was founded in 1953 by our father, Earl J. Snyder Sr.,? said Donald Snyder who with his brother, Ronnie, own the site.

$850,000

Property sold: 2930 Liberty Ave., Strip District

Seller: Nicholas Nicholas, Pittsburgh

Buyer: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Inc., Pittsburgh

Details: Acquired a one-story building, which will permit construction of an annex building and three new studios.

Comment: ?We will investigate the cost of conversion and use of the building, which helps expand our studio on Liberty with possible use of the site as parking, either surface or multi-level,? said Harris Ferris, Ballet Theatre executive director.

Property sold: 601 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi

Seller: Palmerino Ciotti, Charleroi

Buyer: Bayshire Properties LLC, South Hills

Details A three-story, 24-unit apartment building with integral garage plus parking lot. Has covered porch, rear deck, laundry room and storage area.

Comment: ?Buyer had been looking to purchase larger investment property to add to its portfolio. Buyer plans to continue building as is but will do some remodeling/updating. Seller plans to retire,? said Elisa Ciotti, Bob Montcavage Team, Priority Realty LLC.
