Vice President Condoles the Demise of Shri K.C. Pant

The Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari has deeply condoled the sad demise of former Union Minister and able parliamentarian Shri K.C. Pant. In his condolence message, he has said that Shri K. C. Pant?s contribution to the nation building will be long remembered.

Following is the text of Vice President?s condolence message :

?I am deeply grieved to learn of the sad demise of former Union Minister and able parliamentarian Shri K.C. Pant.

Shri Pant was elected to Lok Sabha for the first time in 1962 and served as Cabinet Minister in several key ministries of the Union Government and also as Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission. His contribution to the nation building will be long remembered.

My wife joins me in sending our heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family. We pray to the Almighty to grant them the strength and fortitude to withstand this loss.?
